Taste.com.au’s managing director Prue Cox today announced plans for the brands biggest Christmas ever with the help of partner Coles and renowned chef Curtis Stone.
Ms Cox said: “Over the Christmas period taste.com.au’s traffic and engagement increases exponentially. In the lead up to Christmas last year there were 1.1million recipes printed, the website had 65million page impressions, 4.9million in-site searches and on average users spent 21minutes on site.* Our insights show that 57% of taste.com.au users like to plan in advance, with 29% actually starting to plan Christmas in September.**
“This year as Australian consumers turn to taste.com.au for Christmas advice and inspiration, we have some very exciting new festive initiatives in place driving more value and convenience than ever to our consumers’ shopping baskets. Curtis Stone is on board to help with Christmas planning across all of the brands platforms and we have a fantastic new Christmas Menu Planner with Coles that will provide excellent solutions and inspiration for all shoppers.”
Curtis Stone and Coles have teamed up with taste.com.au to create a new Christmas Menu Planner which launches on Tuesday 10 November at taste.com.au/Christmas. The Christmas Menu Planner will feature over 100 curated menu plans providing inspiration to suit every type of cook with any budget while taking the stress out of planning for festive occasions. Each menu will also have recipe-to-cart functionality, so ingredients can be shopped directly online with Coles.
The November issue of taste.com.au magazine is guest edited by Curtis Stone and focuses on getting Australians ready and excited for Christmas. As part of the issue, Curtis has created an exclusive get-ahead entertaining menu. All of his recipes feature get-ahead tips and through taste.com.au’s recipe-to-cart, users can add ingredients straight to their Coles online shopping trolley and with a couple of clicks ingredients can be delivered directly to their door. Curtis will be seen across all of taste.com.au’s platforms during November including a special zone on the website.
