Tell me about someone who has influenced your career?
I've learnt and been inspired by so many people throughout my career and not just from people more senior than me, but also peers and direct reports. I don't think there is any way I can name just one or two.
Do you have a work/life balance?
The term 'work / life balance' doesn't resonate with me as work is a big part of my life, as is my family and friends and all the other things that I try and pack in. I'm really busy, but I don't know anyone that isn't whether they are a stay at home parent, work from home, work part time or work full time. Most importantly, whilst I'm sure there are things I can do better (more exercise maybe?), I'm happy.
What is your favourite Magazine?
I love reading magazines and am a heavy consumer. I don't have a favourite as I read everything and anything I can get hold of, from Food titles, Homemaker, Womens, Trade, General Interest and news.
What’s the last campaign you did with magazines?
I've worked at Unilever, Vodafone and Kraft - all companies that use a lot of consumer magazines. At the MFA we work with our Industry Trade magazines on promotion and support for the initiatives that we are running, such as the MFA Awards and ngen
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
I've only recently returned to Sydney and love living here. If I had to move, Italy would be top of the list.
If you were on the cover of a magazine, which one?
Maybe The Australian or The Goodweekend, hopefully something uplifting & inspirational
If you could meet any one person (from history or currently alive), who would it be?
Sheryl Sandberg, I'm reading her book 'Lean In' at the moment and really enjoying it.
