What’s your current position?
How long have you been in this position?
I’m currently managing m2m in Melbourne and have been in this role for almost 4 years. Prior to that I spent 10 years launching and running Maxus in Melbourne.
If you could have any job what would it be?
The Landscape Gardener at my own huge country estate.
What has surprised you most about working in Media?
My utter lack of surprise.
Do you have a work/life balance?
I live an almost 3 hour round trip from work so, while I don’t ‘work late at the office’, I tend to bring a whole heap of ‘stuff’ home with me.

Generally yes (occasional bouts of 4am insomnia aside) and I encourage a healthy balance amongst my team. We were just recently voted ‘Happiest Agency in Melbourne’ by the media-I survey and so maybe that answers the question better than I can !

How do you describe your job to your friends outside media?
Can I please have some friends outside of media ?
What are you passionate about?
Music, gardening, travel, food, wine and other passionate people (in no particular order)
What was the last campaign you did with magazines?
I haven’t done ‘my last campaign with magazines’ yet. There’s life in the medium (of course)
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
A mountain view, a lake for fishing, seasons for passing and my family and friends to grow old disgracefully with. I guess a lot of places would fit that bill.
If you could meet any one person (from history or currently alive), who would it be?
Can I do dead and alive ? Dead would be Hannibal (The ancient dude with the elephants, not the chianti quaffing psychopath, nor the leader of the A-Team) Alive, would be hard to think far beyond Keith Richards.
If you were on the cover of a magazine, which one would it be?
I’d rather be in the sealed middle-section….
