If you could have any job what would it be?
A chocolate consultant travelling the world judging the best tasting chocolate (yes this job actually exists!!)
What has surprised you most about working in Media?
That I am not yet bored of it - I have learned so much in the past 20+ years and there is still so much more I can learn!
Do you have a work/life balance?
Yes I have to as I have 3 very active kids which demand that I am available for them too. Not much of a work/life/”Deb” balance though..
What is your favourite magazine?
At the moment it’s House and Garden as I have just finished building a house and desperately need to get the garden side of things sorted.
How do you describe your job to your friends outside media?
Way more glamorously than it actually is!! I never mention the amount of “maths” involved…
What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about anything I invest my time in.
What was the last campaign you did with magazines?
A beautiful campaign for Maxwell & Williams homewares
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Actually I’m pretty happy in Melbourne and the diversity we have easy access to.
If you could meet any one person (from history or currently alive), who would it be?
Elon Musk – I’d love to be inspired for what’s coming in the future – and pick-up any tips so I can be ahead of my teenage daughters
If you were on the cover of a magazine, which one would it be?
I wish I could say Women’s Health, but I’d have a lot of work to do before then and that would also involve less chocolate so there goes my dream job....
