How do you describe your job to your friends outside media?
Try and create the perception of demand for products that consumers don't really need or want whilst keeping team motivated in demanding industry
If you could change one thing about your job, what would it be?
Nothing that i can speak to all of you about...ha ha....we do sometimes tend to take ourselves too seriously, all in all I think we are pretty lucky to be working in such a dynamic industry,
What was the last campaign you did with magazines?
Harris Scarfe - The Australian Women's Weekly, insert with voucher and reader event to relaunch their new store in Adelaide!
What's the best/worst thing to happen since you started working?
Best thing being involved in the Whiskas Pledge campaign which delivered accolades and recognition for the entire team who worked tirelessly on it and also managed to deliver results for the clients. Worst thing was working across a large unnamed retailer as a co-ordinator and making a $100,000 mistake - taught me a BIG lesson though.
Do you have a work/life balance?
I certainly have learnt to go home at a decent hour, however only to then to get on one of the available devices and get back into work mode, it seems to be all the better from the couch.
What is your favourite Magazine?
This varies depending on what life stage I’m at, currently am obsessed with all Home Decorating mags, Belle is a local favourite and Elle Decor UK/US are constantly referred to for inspiration
What do you do when you aren't working?
Love catching up with friends and family over a great meal
If you could meet any one person (from history or currently alive), who would it be?
Meeting real people with real stories is inspiring to me, I think there is always something to be learnt from someone else's struggle or win regardless of who they are
