Pacific Magazines’ leading health titles, Women’s Health and Men’s Health, launches the first issue of a four-part series, ‘Australia’s Sporting Heroes’.
Following on from the successful series – ‘Australia, The Story Of Us’ – the ‘Australia’s Sporting Heroes’ collection showcases the personal stories of the men and women behind Australia’s greatest sporting successes.
Jackie Frank, General Manager – Health, Fashion and Beauty, comments: “From Cathy Freeman’s Olympic triumph to Sir Donald Bradman’s incredible batting average of 99.4, Australia’s Sporting Heroes delves into the stories that have transfixed the nation. At the heart of this nationwide love affair, stand the men and women whose skill, courage and determination have taken them to the very top. With Rio only weeks away, this series recognises and celebrates unforgettable Australian sporting moments and the achievements of our athletes through the decades”.
