Bauer Media today announces the appointment of Karen Holmes to the role of head of key accounts NSW.
Holmes has 20 years’ experience working in Australian media holding numerous sales and strategy roles including running media solutions teams, driving business development, leading agency and state teams and most recently developing, selling and implementing cross platform media solutions.
For the past two years she has headed up NSW customer solutions at News Corp and prior to that was group sales director at Pacific Magazines. For nine years she was national client development director at DMG Radio.
Reporting to Bauer Media director of sales, Fiorella Di Santo, Holmes will lead the key account directors across luxury, retail, homes, FMCG, finance, travel, media, auto and Pharmaceutical.
Di Santo said: “Karen is highly experienced in all aspects of sales and I’m delighted she is joining Bauer to lead our key accounts team and help create customers and grow the brands of some of our most important commercial partners.”
Holmes added: “I am excited to be joining the team at Bauer Media and working across 60 titles that reach over 85 per cent of Australian women each year. This is a wonderful new chapter for me and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the key accounts team and present dynamic and engaging cross platform opportunities to the market.”
She starts in the role on September 14.
